i see that we can buy wipy3.0.
Can you tell me what are the difference compared to Wipy 2.0?
@jmarcelino https://forum.pycom.io/topic/2971/lopy-gps-pytrack-no-coordinates-found We dont get any cordination on that...
This post is deleted!
Sorry, which problem?
@jmarcelino Does this means the problem we having with the gps might take alot longer to fix?
@jmarcelino regrading adding an external gps antenna ... you might now do it ... but couldu you please share with us a detailed schematic of the layout of the Pytrack? ... so maybe, us who want's to have a crack at it ... can hack it and add our own external gps antenna :-)
>>> gc.mem_free() 3070640
Could anybody test the free RAM on WiPy 3.0 using last firmware ? Just after restart/boot type :
import gc gc.collect() gc.mem_free()
Sorry to say but as far as I know there aren't yet plans for Pytrack updates, but yes completely agree that the antenna options should be more flexible! Thanks for the suggestion.
Do you know if there is the plan (near future) to make possible to attach external antenna to pytrack?
Without this it is usless e.g. in situation where you need to hide device in e.g. car and antenna is some tricky shape :)
WiPy3, LoPy4, FiPy, GPy will all have this base configuration in common.
There are also news coming in the shields department. Stay tuned ;-)
@livius From the web site:
– RAM: 4MB
– External flash: 8MB
– Hardware floating point acceleration
– Python multi-threading
and I assume also revision 1 of the esp32.
and I hope also low power deep sleep supported w/o shield.
