LoPy in New Zealand
-
Is anyone using LoPy or L01 in NZ? I'm particularly interested in knowing about regulatory issues there (and in AU as well). Is the LoPy or L01 "fully certified" there or does the end product need to go through its own certification? Does this apply to all use-cases or only "consumer" grade?

LoRaWAN you should be ok if you use the Australian/NZ 915-928 frequencies
Note: when you use the examples from the github use the US 915 codebase for the server and client

there is a youtube video about this code. Search pycom alexs corner

@jubbs Right. I don't think there are any regulatory issues with using a LoRa device, but my question is about selling one.

We are using the LoPy and other Lora devices. There are no regulatory issues as far as I know it is a public band.
