Expansion Board V3.0r - up dating firmware on mac - How?

I am using a mac and want to upgrade the firmware , or at least know how to. The documentation on
https://docs.pycom.io/chapter/pytrackpysense/installation/firmware.htmlisn't great for the expansion board and mac. Can anyone who has successfully done this tell me how they did it please.

@capnahab The Expansion Board 3.0 is already shipped with the latest firmware. The one posted on https://docs.pycom.io/chapter/pytrackpysense/installation/firmware.html is for reference only and identical to the one already flashed at the factory.
