Factory Reset Pysense + Fipy
-
I was upgrading the Fipy FW on my board via the Windows FW update tool (connected to a Pysense via USB in Win10). Everything was working good prior to trying to update the Fipy FW.
Now the board is completely unresponsive. No serial port shows in Atom and the heartbeat light on the Fipy no longer blinks.
It appears as though I've bricked the board? Is there a way reset to factory FW so I can start over?

@jazzyhawk Hey, try doing a safeboot. It should skip your boot.py and main.py code and allow you back in.

I had the same problem (except the heartbeat still worked). But trying to connect to the board in VS code did not work. Somehow I got the sample code for "ping to google" over LTE-M onto the board but now I cant connect to board.
Did you @samrhodus find any solution to this?

Hi @samrhodus,
Did you get any error messages from the firmware updater? Have you tried restarting your PC?
Also, could you send me the version of your firmware updater? Thanks!
