Can I program WiPy with other IDEs and How?

I am totally new to this field.

So please help me, I want to know some basics before I getting start to dive in.

1. Can I completely erase built-in libraries of WiPy and replace them with new using different IDEs (Arduino, or AVR studio etc.) and How?
2. What are the benefits of using Pycom over other IDEs?

The reason I am asking is, i am really intersted in using Wipy 2 to make my own WSN.

1. It's not impossible but don't expect to get any official support if you go that way. Also not recommended for newbies...
2. Do you mean Pymate? It has some nice integration with the Pycom boards (detection, connectivity check, etc.)
