I have a problem with VSCode and the PyMakr plugin.
-
After finding that the current version of PyMakr plugin for Atom does not work now that Atom has been updated, I decided to try VSCode. I have installed VSCode and the PyMakr plugin.
When I click CTL+SHIFT+P I see a list of all the commands that I am supposed to be able to select from and I see a number of PyMakr commands, but everyone of them says command not found when I click them.
i.e. Error: command 'pymakr.globalSettings' not found

Forgot to add... using 2 x Lopy4, Fipy, and ESP (Huzzah from Adafruit). Lopy4's and Fipy are on Expansion Board 3. Huzzah's float (literally... they are just hanging in the air in various locations to test distance vs speed).

Win 10 x64
I do work in IT, so my system is pretty well tuned, but not perfect. And it did take a bit of effort to get it all to work a few months ago when a lot of things were changing at the same time. But the most recent combinations (I mentioned above) worked first try.
I did uninstall Pymakr from both, did the updates to Atom and VSCode (I had reverted back when I found new versions didn't work correctly with plugin) and then installed new version of Pymakr. Not sure if this was required, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.

VSCode version 1.27.2 (user setup) and Pymakr 1.0.3 is working fine for me in Windows.
I also use Atom ver. 1.30.0 with Pymakr 1.4.2 and it is fine. What versions are you using?

@vincitytaymo Can you delete the plugin from disk and reinstall?
%USERPROFILE%\.vscode\extensions
I am curious how VSCode+PyMakr works for you. Mine is pretty much broken on Windows.
