Expansion 3 USB

Hi,
just came back from a project demo (where it was working) and the Expansion 3 seems to be stuck in DFU mode, but not quite ??? Windows (win 10) Device Manager shows VID/PID of 0x04D8/0xEF99, but keeps coming and going. Windows beeps every few seconds like a bad connection on the USB, but I've use a another cable that is OK with other devices.

I have used zadig to add libusbK as per https://docs.pycom.io/pytrackpysense/installation/firmware, but it is still unstable.
Also, the docs are not clear what firmware I should try to install on the Exp 3, or if I should be trying to.

Any thoughts where to go next?

@pybuggz Have you checked for any moved jumpers or pressed buttons?
