expansion board 3.0 not recognized pro windows 10 pro

I connect Expansion Board 3.0 in usb 2.0 and 3.0 and it does not recognize windows, it does not give me the option nor to update the driver does not recognize it.
What can be???

I have had this issue a couple of times with different boards (just today in fact). To solve I upgraded the firmware on the expansion board 3.0.

Can you confirm that the usb cable in use is actually a data cable and not one of the "power only" variants?
