MQTT Over LoRa

Its possible to use MQTT with a LoRa connection?
With Wi-Fi it is :)

@lloureiro in general you won’t run MQTT over LoRaWAN (MQTT is way to verbose for the very bandwidth-constrained LoRa), but many gateways/network servers will be able to convert LoRa packets to MQTT messages.

@lloureiro MQTT uses TCP/IP, which is not supported on LoRa(Wan).

Even CoAP and MQTT-SN not using TCP/IP, but UDP, I'm not aware of these protocols supporting LoRa(Wan).

I've found this article, Virtualizing LoRaWAN Nodes: a CoAP-based Approach, but it is not CoAP running on LoRa(Wan).
