Help to connect my Fipy board to Pybytes (Nightmare)



  • Hi,

    I search to connect my fipy board to Pybytes.

    First stage : Online Firmware updater don't work
    When i click "downloadFirmware Updater

    It's open page with three link and i download the pycom_firmware_updater_1.16.5 the same file to the offline process.
    I try but i have this error.

    So is bad but not too bad i try offline with pycom firmware updater.
    But in this soft a can't paste my activation token because the soft firmware updater erase instansly my caracter

    My board is a fipy with an expansion board v3.1.

    Ok nothing is ok i try the last solution with visual studio with pymkr plugin.
    So let's go !!

    I install all in visual studio and connect my board !! Hey is works i have a signal but with an error !

    So try to paste in my console pybytes.activate (" token")
    But new bug !!!!

    Oh and i try with my phone but my board is not in AP oh yeah !!

    Question : How i can connect my board on Pybytes ??? The board is promisy but the software is not very good.
    For moment bad experience.

  • @Johann-Fournier I have the same problems, but downgrading to r4 dosent help....



  • I read this post and this new update is buggy.

    So i try to downgrade my board on 1.20.2 r4
    and i try connect my board with pymkr plugin methode.

    I paste my activation string in my console and .... it's work fine !!

    yesterday i searched 4 hours and is the last soft version is buggy. :(
