Does not attach LTE



  • Hi, my FiPY, tested with PyTrack 2.0X and Expansion Board v3.1, is stuck in the LTE attach loop. Have been scanning for days.

    My network is Tele2 Estonia, and I connect like this:

    lte.init(carrier="standard")
    lte.attach(apn="internet.tele2.ee") 
    

    I have three masts around me, close by, so low probability that the connection is poor.

    I have upgraded multiple times to the latest code.

    When I get the modem info, there is a core panic and dump.

  • So I got this working. The problem was that the SIM was never initiated. I put the SIM inside a Android phone to check if the SIM works (it did work) and after that it worked inside the FiPy. So the problem might be that the Pycom library does not know how to register the SIM on the network for the first time.
