Pymate can't see router SSID

Did the issue of 2.4 GHz router SSID not being found / visible in the Add Device wizard get resolved?

I downloaded Pymate yesterday onto my Samsumg Galaxy and it cannot find /display any router SSID; it just keeps spinning the little symbol. I've also tried starting the wizard with the phone wifi off, but exactly the same...
