Powering LoPy from a 3.3V 500mA '3p3' output
-
Anyone have any pointers to why a '3p3' 3.3V output on 500mA would not power a LoPy? I connected it and it wouldnt com on.
-
@MarcusKirsch I found the 5V pin (doh!) all good all running.
-
@jmarcelino Basic connection. LoPy's 3v3 and GND to source's 3p3 and GND. I checked with multimeter that the source spits out right and it it all looks fine. I think I am actually getting 1A out of my source. Accodring to spex the device gives: Regulated 3.3-volt, 500mA

@MarcusKirsch
do you have anything else connected when powering from the 3.3v source?Also what is the 3.3v source exactly?
-
@jmarcelino Wen I connect it on the dev board the LED comes up after a few seconds. When I connect it to my 3.3v source, nothing happens.
This should be enough power right?

@MarcusKirsch
Can you describe how it's connected in more detail - both power and others.Also do you see any output on the serial console?
