What is the cheapest GPS module "available to buy".
I do not need gps position then accurate/speed doesn't matter.
I need it for time sync only.

I use currently NEO6MV2 but maybe is there something cheaper.
Especially "new" module. It can be refurbished also but as last choice like proposed by @jmarcelino

Interesting alternative, but i will stay with GPS - it also work on ship and is really simple to use (mostly UART).
As always i probably do not need position - but if i can get it than it sometimes can be usefull as a gadget.
And can be simply repleaced by more accurate GPS without firmware modification.
Then better is GPS for me here.

For cheap, ultra low power time base ditch the GPS and go for the one of the many atomic time radios like the German DCF77 (works all over Europe) Much better than GPS indoors and even underground.

You can get modules for that for as little as $1.5 https://world.taobao.com/item/548186965810.htm?fromSite=main though I'm not sure how to get them easily n Europe. If you're interested maybe we can do a combined order.
