pybytes.pycom.io, no dates and no signal data visualization
-
Hi,
Since this Friday 13/5 2022 I no longer get preview of my signals in the bybytes dashboard "last message" field and the "Last received" field shows "Invalid date"
Data is correctly transmitted via my webhook and the "Past hour data" shows traffic.
Was there any upgrade to the pybytes website recently that could cause the change?
Best regards
/Åke

Update: the site started working again but there's no data between 9:22 and 14:20.
Could be on the device side but feels suspicious that nothing on the site worked...
-
@ahmadelmasri Do you have some sort of incident right now? Today I my dashbord is empty of widgets (and I can't add new ones), I see no signals, the device shows as "never connected", My webhook setup is missing.
The only thing I can see is the device in the list of devices.
-
@ahmadelmasri Ok this time I tested it showed up after a while. That problem might just have been that the info loads slowly...
-
Hi @Åke-Forslund,
Please make sure you refresh the page. we will look at this behavior to see why it is happening.
one possible reason could be that you are using 2 different emails?

@ahmadelmasri Ok this is super weird but perhaps unrelated. I tried to find the webhook using the web browser on my computer (pybytes->settings->integrations) and none showed up. But on my phone using the mobile website it shows up?!?!
-
Hi @Åke-Forslund,
Let me check the message history and get back to you. thanks

@ahmadelmasri Not sure what happened during the day but now I see the "last message"
However clicking on the temperature signal I get no data:
So definitely an improvement!
Should I still send the e-mail?
-
@ahmadelmasri Thanks, I'll send an e-mail during the day.
-
Hi @Åke-Forslund,
To be able to debug more, and check the case (which we are not able to reduplicate on our case) can you provide us with more details about your account/devices.
for privacy purposes, please send these details to pybytes@pycom.io.
include in the email:
email address you used for accessing pybytes
device ide/or token you are facing this issue withHave a nice day.

@ahmadelmasri I don't think the root cause got solved... It's
-
now:
And clicking on temperature still don't show any messages (battery voltage shows the history like before).
-
Hi @Åke-Forslund,
We deployed a new version can you confirm the changes on your side?
If you still have invalid data, let us know.
Have a nice day.

Ahmad El Masri

@ahmadelmasri they're sent every half hour. The webhook I've configured forwards data from that pin as expected so messages are arriving to the platform
-
Hi @Åke-Forslund,
When was the last time you send messages from this device on that pins?
Best Regards,
Ahmad EL Masri
-
@ahmadelmasri when clicking the second (battery voltage) I see messages but not when clicking the first (temperature). previously I got a graph over the past messages temperature.
-
Can you confirm if you click on one of the signals that you can see the list of messages related to that signal?
Best Regards,
Ahmad EL Masri

Super, let me know if you need any additional information to help with the debugging.
I also noticed that the Pin 0 is not selectable when creating widgets for the dashboard, maybe that's related?
-
Thank you for reporting that.
Yes, we have updated Pybytes frontend to a new version/design.
Will take a look at the above error you are facing. and will get back to you.
Best Regards,
