  I'm writing from my head, but this should work: import machine uart = machine.UART(1, 115200) According to LoPy pinout scheme https://www.pycom.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/lopy_pinout.pdf and Expansion Board pinout scheme https://www.pycom.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/expansion_v02_pinout.pdf UART1 (2nd) comm pins are: TX1 - P3 / G24 RX1 - P4 / G11

  That's a point, but then pymakr should work reliably, like the Arduino UI does, as long as you stick with standard boards. At least, I never had any issues with installing Arduino on Linux or Windows. AFAIK, the Windows version of pymakr has no installation problems, but I just tried an early version for a few moments.

  @Ralph micropython is python3 so having a local shell with python2 is confusing (to me)

  Hi @borjam, Please feel free to file an enhancement issue at https://github.com/pycom/pycom-micropython/issues If you want you can even improve our LoRa documentation yourself. It's available at https://github.com/pycom/pycom-micropython/tree/master/docs/pycom_esp32. You can fork the repository, apply your changes, and submit a pull request. Thanks

  I can confirm firmware upgrade tool works fine on 10.11.6 which I am running on a MacBook Pro. I had one failure of the type reported on this thread (I am flashing 14 LoPys) but retired it and it worked fine second attempt.

  Hi @Shaun, Thanks for the suggestions. The '2 way sync' is something we are discussing to implement. Upload of config or resource files is also not fully supported at the moment, so for now you'll need an FTP app to do this. I'll put this on our list to research. For all development of your python code, pymakr will do the trick.

  Just got e-mail from Fred saying SiPy has been delayed until 19 Dec in anticipation of Espressif 1.0 IDK. Look forward to it. Thanks!
