  @prx I submitted a Pull Request to Pycom, and they may include it in the next release. This is not a drastic change: just two lines in a configuration file. Mint Xfce is under the hood identical to Xubuntu. It is more a look & feel issue. Before Mint, I had also Xubuntu installed.

  @roqueton The ADC does not return values from 0V on. You get value > 0 from 30-70 mV on, depending on the attenuator setting. And it i somewhat nonlinear at both ends of the range. adc.value() returns the raw read. adc.voltage() tries to compensate for nonlinearity and offsets. So it looks as if it is doing it wrong. If you need a precise ADC, use a dedicated chip for that, like the ADS111x family.

  @peterv Hmmmm!!! Try connecting directly to a decent power supply. I suspect the FiPy needs more power than can be supplied from the USB port on some PCs. Others have been able to rectify strange behaviour by using an external power supply. I recall seeing a note about this somewhere.

  @jmarcelino send_at_cmd_pretty('AT!="clearscanconfig"') followed by send_at_cmd_pretty('AT!="addscanfreq band=3 dl-earfcn=1250"') seems to be persistent even after modem reset. How can we scan all bands (default GPY) ?

  @jmarcelino So it is the unpowered PCI which pulls GPIO0 low. Adding a stronger pull-up is not really a solution, because that would also increase quiescent current. The proper cure would be to add a switch transistor which is off when not needed. But that would required the PIC to change the polarity of the signal, and a new board design. or you need a two stage single transistor inverter, where the first stage is driven by the PIC power. As a hot fix, since not all boards seem to be affected, can you try to do a sligth level shift with a diode (or two) soldered over the break you made?

  I found the line and changed it. On Windows the path is: %USERPROFILE%\.vscode\extensions\pycom.pymakr-1.0.1\lib\board\sync.js It works now, thank you very much. This has bugged me for quite some time now.

  Hi @MBK, I don't think it's random, it's assigned by the DHCP server. It sounds like an issue with Windows, maybe it cached the settings? Have you tried resetting your network settings? I don't have access to Win10, but I tried it on my phone and Mac, but indeed I wasn't able to use static IPs. I think you'd need to set static IPs in the AP, not in the client.

  Hi @az311, Could you share some more details about your setup? Which devices are you using and which firmware version is installed on them? How long does it take for the WiFi to stop working (days or weeks)? I'll look into this issue.
