      @dweedle Just use any high quality female headers. They will most likely be better than the ones Pycom boards have. I made very good experience with a vendor called Fischer, series BL5 14 or MK21 14 (low profile), but also from MPE Garry. Just get those with machine contacts.

      @testos Yes, you need to connect to the external IO header below the fipy. And you have to specify these Pins, when you open the UART, most likely UART1. On a Fipy, two of the three UARTs are already used by the firmware UART0 and maybe UART2. You have to try.

      @danielm Hi, Great points! There will be 2 functions: Two pins will be for power and 4 pins (universal inputs/outputs with digital/analogue capabilities) so that you can connect different types of sensors and actuators. Indeed we will ensure no shorting can take place. The PyGo will in any event have such a circuitry protection built in. Best wishes Fred
