Clicking the items works for me (without pressing enter) when using Safari on ipad.

@paul-thornton I seem to get the notification now, but I'm guessing it's the mentions specifically, since I turned on the "replies in topics you watch". I'm pretty sure it's not browser related since it's not in the notifications view, but I'm using google chrome Version 71.0.3578.98 I'm guessing you get the notifications because of the reply and you're watching the topic, not because of the mention. I'm going to put mentions on emails only and replies on notifications. That should send me an email when I get mentioned and a notification because there's a reply if you reply to this topic.

@robmarkcole sorry Rob, but it works for me as a platform. I do get annoyed by the lack of announcements for new releases and things being posted in the wrong places, but I don't think changing the platform will solve that. As I see it, if Pycom only has limited resources to put into getting things done, then I'd vote to leave the platform as it is and focus on the documentation. If that was up to scratch then perhaps I wouldn't have to rely upon the forum so much.

I would like to change my username, is that possible? Have not seen that option in edit / settings either.

@livius I have tried to work around this in the past but had no luck, I will get our sysadmin to look into it a bit more

We could change the default sort order but I'm not sure this would affect existing users. I admit it throws me off too if I'm on the forum but not logged into my account. I'll see if our system admin can do some internal tests.
