@Meric-NESSANGE said in INPUT ADC values and OUTPUT voltage: Worse or better than an arduino? Or the same order of magnitude ? If your arduion use ESP32 then the same. If you use digital output then it should be near max voltage 3.3. For the input read the docs, especially bottom green frame https://docs.pycom.io/firmwareapi/pycom/machine/adc/#app

@Borja-Blasco Generally it is possible to use the Pins of the camera connector. They are connected to the said Pxx pins. Be aware, that P13-P18 are input-only. Using them as output fails.

@dan Any updates on this issue? Seems like their hasn't been much change in the documentation.

@seb said in Pytrack PWR_EN, and 3V3 External IO pins: @gregcope Pin 3 3V3_Pymodule - This power supply is always switched on Pin 4 3V3_Sensors - This power supply is only switched on when the Pytrack is awake, when it goes to sleep mode it turns off Pin 2 PWR_EN - You can use this to externally toggle the sleep mode Old thread, but I need help: The pwr_en pin is to power down the pycom board right? Connect this pin to gnd with a button or with a switch?

@seb it looks like the pytrack button wakes the board only if you enable the accel wake up. Since I disabled the accel wake up the button does not wake up anymore. Can anyone can confirm this ?

I can confirm @River is correct, the LDO automatically switches modes, there is no GPIO pin involved in this

@jmpratt Would you mind providing me a link for the hardware you used? I was thinking of using the RS485 library and a 485 to uart breakout board.

@jmarcelino just as a note. P19 is not working for me as Input. P20 does. I'm now running the latest firmware. This seems to have not changed anything for me at least.

Thanks @daniel and @robert-hh and thank you for the offer of support and potential of modifying code base. I decided to use a PCA8575 16 bit I2C I/O expander as it solved the I/O problem without adding too much to the bill of materials, so I left the SPI pins for the Lora/Sigfox radio not connected.

@bradnz So you want to tell, if the voltage of the LiPo battery is above 2.5 V. That should be done using the ADC, for various reasons. a) The value at which a digital input switches from HIGH to LOW is not well defined and not stable. It is somewhere between 0.75 * Vdd and 0.25 * Vdd b) You have to check the value of the variable charger anyhow, so instead of doing that you could also read an ADC value. If you want to have that done in an interrupt fashion, you can set-up a timer interrup which reads the ADC,

@robert-hh said in Use photocell with GPIO: me could be longer, and must not be not shorter, since it discharges the capacitor. The sample code talks about a loop time of 1 ms. WiPy is faster. The loop time should be around 15 µs. Are you sure that you connected the photocell between 3.3v and P10? If you never have a '1' reading at P10 as input, then the wiring is wrong. I mad a quick crosscheck with G9 = P22, and sleep(0.1), and it worked. Nevertheless, you could do better using the analog ports of the esp32 with a resistor and the photocell. Hello, I just tried again and it is working now. Thanks
