Hi @lasse You can find the firmware releases on GitHub: https://github.com/pycom/pycom-micropython-sigfox/releases I'll look into creating a page for changelogs somewhere.

@b_rubble Here is a sample script using the ADS7818 with SPI: # Drive the ADS7818 ADC using SPI # Connections: # xxPy | ADS7818 # -----|------- # P10 | CLK # P11 | CONV # P14 | DATA # from machine import SPI, Pin from ubinascii import hexlify spi = SPI(0, SPI.MASTER, baudrate=4000000, polarity=1, phase=1, bits=16) buf = bytearray(2) vref = 2.493 # measured at the ADS7818 while True: # start a conversion and get the result back spi.write_readinto(b"\xe0\x00", buf) # extract the raw ADC value and derive Voltage value = ((buf[0] << 8) | buf[1]) & 0xfff volt = 2.0 * vref * value / 4096 print(hexlify(buf), value, volt) res= input("Next: ") if res == "q": break The conversion and reading back is done within the single spi.write_readinto() call. It is then easy to embed that in a small class. Note: Since the ADS7818 runs at 5V, insert a resistor of 3.3k to 10k into the data line back into the ESP32 to limit the current into the ESD diodes.

@lewis +1 Question to lewis, who are you buying your SIM through? I understand the two choices are Twilio and AlwaysConnect. I have one from AlwaysConnect. Nice guys, but so far unhelpful since they don't deal with IoT devices, just CradlePoint products and not any of the microcontrollers such as PyCom and/or Particle, etc. Question to PyCom, I see where T-Mobile US says the only certified device from Sequans is the US130Q. How will that affect us on the FiPy platform? Is there action you, the vendor, need to take to ensure your IoT platforms are certified?

hi @arthurjw, what do you mean by v1/v3? The hardware versions are 1.0 and 1.1(no difference). The latest firmware version is v0.0.8. The Pysense updating procedure did not changed: https://docs.pycom.io/chapter/pytrackpysense/installation/firmware.html On what OS are you updating, Windows/Linux/Mac?

@jcaron Just to clarify something from our use case: In our experience using the same frame counter is not a problem with our private instance of a TTN server. How we do it now is that we restore from nvram and save it immediately after. This is so we don't need to think about it again. I understand ADR will not work for us here, but it is still a lot easier and spares us from some logic with exception handling and still keeping the session and avoiding a new join. We also do not need to receive responses. We are basically using it as a makeshift abp connection, as our setup and back-end does not support abp. Having a function that restores the session without erasing it would actually be quite nice for our case. This, as far as I understand it from TTN, does also work for the public TTN network, but I have not confirmed this. Is there some way of getting all connection details down in a file so we could save it to an SD card instead? This would actually allow us to quite efficiently create devises and manage the things for our system.

I spoke too soon! >.< From a fresh wipe and firmware upgrade, I was able to run the I2C library. However, once I loaded my own modules onto the device and used them to connect to my network, calling "init" on an I2C instance caused the WiPy to freeze (connected over serial, but I could no longer type into the console). I built a bit-banged version of I2C yesterday and am able to use it on the same pins ("P8", "P9") without issue.
