Even after repeated attempts, unable to get my node working. I tried Sodaq One and lopy nano gateway which worked fine. So, I'm guessing there is a problem with my other LoPy which I'm trying to use as a node. Thanks everyone for your help.

OEM modules use 1.8v flash and ram. not sure if they are powered by discrete ldo or esp32 onboard ldo and whether the pin is intended as alternate supply or output.

Hi...i am a new user here. As per my knowledge Pin states can be remembered through deepsleep using pin.hold([hold]). Also you can do this in boot it start same as removing power ,you start from clear point. pcb assembly

@livius FW of the SD card should prevent corruption of file system of the card if power fail happens during writing. How this is achieved I don't know.

@kingj first change your init to only one line - i do not suppose that this matter but... i2c = I2C(0, I2C.MASTER, baudrate=100000) and try to add first default config i2c.writeto_mem(addr,0x00,bytes([0x00]))

Finally I could get the node to join TTN! :D I needed to add a delay of 5 seconds before the node starts listening for the response of the Join Request with the command AT+JD: > AT+JD=5 OK > AT+JOIN Successfully joined network OK Also the fix for _send_down_link in my last post is no more needed as the frequency in the Event Data is now ok.

There are a few keys here. One is that beartooth is using both lora and FSK modulations with p2p and not lorawan. FSK will give higher datarate. Two is that there is not a 1% duty cycle limitation on 915mhz in us like 868mhz in Europe. There are still power restrictions. Would love to see an open source beartooth clone with 2 lopy's. Beartooth and gotenna are cool but too expensive, I just stick to cheap 2-way radios for now.

I can offer the following info; The SPI is implemented in hardware. (I2C not yet, still software) Maximum clock rate is half the system clock frequency which currently is set at 160Mhz, so SPI clk can be as high as 80Mhz. Next slower frequency will be 40Mhz, then 20Mhz, then 10Mhz ......
