@robert-hh hello robert, thanks for all the great help - it's really awesome!! I managed to figure out, when booting in safe mode - that i can temporarily connect via ftp again (because the boot.py is bypassed).. and thus make changes to the boot.py. soo.. the thing is though, that it seems the lopy does not care AT ALL about what I put into the boot.py script now, even after unplugging the short between G28 and 3v (which I assume should make it go back to loading boot and main). EDIT tinkering more about, it turned out I had to set the heartbeat to false in order to use the rgbled onboard the lopy. well done soren. anyway, it is indeed responding now, but setting up the thing with custom wlan configuration is really difficult. this topic has become pretty messy. I tried to change the topic name, but got a message that i couldn't.. it is pretty misleading atm. are there any admins on here?

@pascal probably you are connected to board by COM port from different program. You can not be connected to board bye e.g. pymark, putty. Updater tool must have exclusive access to com port (UART). @robert-hh Thank you for the answer! I searched around the forum but its sometimes confusing when then documentation and forums are not synced because of the ever changing updates :) I'll keep an eye out the in the patch notes.

@daniel Thanks for the reply, I have installed the newest version, I'm using now the LoraWan nano gateway, my previous project was a lora gateway based on a raspberry pi and a LoPy board. The newest Firmware version include the Lorawan nano gateway example you have created with your team is Great!! Thanks!!! Another question: have you any idea when the newest Pytrack board is available? I have pre-order this and I can wait ;)

@dhruv I have changed your device from 868MHz to 915MHz. Please re-run the firmware update tool to flash the new region.

@daniel I see that some timings/stability improved in pin. Now i am able read samsung tv codes without any problem from python code without need of C function as previously :) I tested this i suppose in many previous versions (last tested lower than 1.5) and it was not stable enought but now it work :)

@mcook Since version 1.6.4.b1 it's possible to call machine.deepsleep(number_of_ms) and the LoPy go into deep sleep in the way you want, however at the moment the current flow is still high (15mA@3.3v last time I checked) but this being investigated At the moment there's an issue with current not really dropping to just a few uA and we are investigating it. https://forum.pycom.io/topic/767/new-firmware-release-version-1-6-4-b1

i understand... got a couple of sipy's and it has just been a nightmare. pymkr is very buggy....it doesnt always connect . i have to do a lot of firmware resets, it is just a nightmare..
