  @Xykon I had several other units I tried to fix and get online that still wouldn't flash OTA.   @peterp After updating the modem to CAT M1 41065 I got deep sleep currents of 20uA! I tried that with a GPy, updating the G01 over uart with a supply voltage of 3.3v for both the ESP and the sequans modem did not work. The GPy is supplied with 5v on the Vin pin, I suspect the problem with the G01 to be the low supply voltage for the sequans modem.

You seem to be very active on the forum, I've been trawling through the forum posts trying to get information on various things and see your handle crop up a lot.   hi @sylvainm, We have not released Pymesh firmware lately, last one was sent on Jan 2020, so you should use the Pybytes one and configure your Pymesh with the right BR. Next, you could disable pybytes using: pycom.pybytes_on_boot(False)

  Hi, We are currently shipping modems with newer firmware than we have available. FIY, your modem is already a CAT-M1 firmware (LR5.xx) so you do not need to update it. If you do wish to update it, do not use the upgdiff files, as the none of the old versions match with what you currently have, you can only do a full upgrade using the CATM1-41064.dup file.   @Thosch42 I'm working on this https://github.com/buzzware/pycom-docker-firmware-build I can't vouch for it being correct or the output being functional or running on Windows, but it does complete the build on my Mac.

  @catalin regarding firmware improvements, there's been some discussions on changing the way the lora.nvram_restore() function behaves. Mainly, on making it not delete the lora context immediately upon restore.
