@Don-iot I'll need to spend some time migrating away from it this winter it seems. Luckily my water temperature webpage stayed online for the summer season here in Sweden. Any recommendations for easy to use platforms?

@PVBRAIN-CETENMA your fipy is unable to connect to your wifi router, check the /flash/pybytes-config.json file (check the wifi sssid and password here).

@Miguel-Moreno Thank you for the response. We're using a Wipy board to talk to a wifi enabled cellular router that connects to thingspeak. I will attempt what you're suggesting. @robert-hh You're right! I was surprised as well. We do have some source code, but there is a sense that there may be a later version of this on the device instead (we need to be sure). We're basically picking apart a project that other engineers built and are working with the technical documentation that they've left behind to get the system up and running again. We're aware that it may all be for nothing but it's worth a try before we commit time and resources to the next iteration of the application with better record keeping.

Hi @Carl-Folkesson, Yes, as you mentioned one of the possibilities, to connect is using the device id, (you can use the provisioning step to link that to your account) use Pymakr section to be able to just get the config file in case you have the target firmware. However, if you want to add this explicitly, you can get the id from the URL, when you are under the page link. If you think, having this as before is an important feature, please let me know so we can update our design to reimplement that. have a nice day. Best Regards, Ahmad El Masri

Update: the site started working again but there's no data between 9:22 and 14:20. Could be on the device side but feels suspicious that nothing on the site worked...

Hi @KK , Kindly note that you can now add your sim card to the account. In case you face an error adding/activating them please report that to pybytes@pycom.io NB: you may face connection issue using the sim card (we are working to fix this) Best Regards, Ahmad EL Masri

Hi @knaris, Concerning the sleeping time of the device, as I understand that you have a custom code to take the device to sleep? maybe you can optimize this to turn off the sleep cycle when you are doing an update? Let me know if I can help more. Have a nice day. Best Regards,

Hi, I'm running a gPy device on LTE against pybytes.pycom.io. The device has never been connected via wifi and is working fine. Things I have done: attached an external antenna replaced the LTE-controller firmware with one suitable for my region / provider

Testing a little bit more, here is what I can do successfully: Create a release with only a new configuration Create a release with my Custom firmware only (I managed to deploy it) So it seems that the problem is linked to the presence of my my-release.zip file containing the python files to upload to flash. Any advice to manage to create a full release? Thanks.
