Just no LoRa ints getting through. Found a discussion on github about adding a 50mS delay in the while loop of the main program and now I am getting packets through. I need to understand the interrupt processing better. It should break out of a tight while loop with an interrupt but seems like it doesn't. I also had to add a sleep delay after boot before loading our BT code or the device would core dump with this version of code. Here's the link: https://github.com/pycom/pycom-micropython-sigfox/issues/102

    a) Yes, 2nd pin and 4th pin on the other side and are clearly labeled GND and G23 b) Yes, I'm using the same COM port with TeraTerm to run a script... So it must be the right one

@livius Thanks! I couldn't figure it out (quite new to python).. Ended up with this: def rgb_to_hex(red, green, blue): """Return color as #rrggbb for the given color values.""" return '%02x%02x%02x' % (red, green, blue) for i in range(256): color = rgb_to_hex(i,i,i) pycom.rgbled(256-int(color,16)) time.sleep(0.005) This just fades from white to off, removing the '256' fades from off to white.. Probably not the smoothest way to do it, but it works. :)

Just tried updating the firmware. Lights blink on my UART board however it said failed. [image: 1512337728173-screenshot-from-2017-12-03-21-36-42.png] Connected GP23 to GND like I did originally to update the firmware. Rather odd as I took precautions to make sure I used only the 3v3 UART however like explained It was just plugged in normally when it stopped working. Odd! I'll return it to the retailer and request a replacement as I was rather enjoying it. Thanks

Yesterday i was testing ADR on LoPy with confirmed packets. I achieved that LoPy change to a SF8BW125 but no more, the communication range was the same. I forced the LoPy to transmit at SF12 in the socket configuration, and the range is the same too... I looked from lora.tx_power() and the value is 13, i think 13 dBm. About 100 meters in line vision, the gateway measured SNR = 8 dB and RSSI = -78 dB ... it is OK?

@eric24 That is the plan, although it might not come on the first firmware releases. Since LoRa/LoRaWAN (Class A) or Sigfox don't really have a "connection", they just send uplinks or wait to receive for very well determined periods it should certainly be possible to send for example one packet over LoRa and switch to Sigfox for the next one and so on.

Thank you, that was really helpful. The online decoder works perfectly. When I searched for Lorawan decoder I got also some really useful links.

You do not need 0.5 ppm at least not for 125/250/500 kHz bandwidth.

LoRaWAN you should be ok if you use the Australian/NZ 915-928 frequencies Note: when you use the examples from the github use the US 915 codebase for the server and client https://github.com/pycom/pycom-libraries/tree/master/examples/lorawan-nano-gateway there is a youtube video about this code. Search pycom alexs corner https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/wiki/LoRaWAN/Frequencies/By-Country

@jmarcelino It works for me now! I had to enable NTP client using the command line in Windows. Before that, "rtc.synced()" was returning False. Thanks.
