HI @smbunn, thanks for reporting, sorry for not having this issue fixed yet. We spent some time today re-compiling the serialport-lib that's in Pymakr for Atom 1.25. It hasn't succeeded yet for all operating systems. There is a new release of pymakr v1.2.10 which contains new precompiles for osx and win64, but the latter still has issues. Bear with us on this, we'll be sure to fix it in the next days. And there's always VSCode to fall back to for a few days. I'll keep you up to date.

@seb Yes I meant copying single files. I installed mpfshell and this can do the job for me. I did use an FTP toool for this, bud when using the WiFi radio in my app I constntly had to switch between IP addresses. Thanks again.

I've been using Atom with it's plugin and it's been working well for me. It's got it's quirks and feels clunky, but it gets the job done. I would like to see a proper plugin for PyCharm however, because I like that IDE.

Connect a jumper between P12 and 3.3V and press the reset button, this will cause the onboard LED to flash orange, when you see this please remove the jumper. This puts the device into "safe boot", in this mode it will not run the boot.py and main.py files and drop you straight into the interactive REPL terminal

We've just uploaded a new version (0.1.6) that works on windows x64. Try it out and let me know if your problem is fixed.

Hello everyone, I was able to rebuild the iOS Pymate app for iOS 11.0.2 and I'm getting some very basic functionality out of it. There are still some bugs that I need to fix before I can try to submit this new version to the Apple App Store. There are also some aesthetic issues but I'm ignoring them for now. I'm hoping to have some more news in the next few days.

Too bad to hear that you dislike the plugin. If you have time, please let us know some specific things you think that can be improved in your opinion. We're always open to feedback.

Not sure what operating system you are using... If you have Windows you could try VS Code instead of Atom. If you are on Windows, you should try using Atom version 1.18 with the Pymakr plugin. More about Atom and Pymakr plugin issues on Github HERE More info if you are using Windows 10: The easiest way to fix this for Windows 10 is to downgrade to Atom 1.18, you can download it from here: https://github.com/atom/atom/releases?after=v1.19.0-beta5 half way down the page is version 1.18, I downloaded the AtomSetup.exe file for windows10. Make sure you don't upgrade to 1.19 or above until the Pymakr plugin is fixed. Also Atom is by default set to auto update so as soon as you open it, go to menu >>> help >>> about atom Then un-check the "Automatically download updates" Then install the Pymakr package. From Menu >>> Packages >>> Settings View >>> Install Packages In the Install Packages search box, type in pymakr, it's down a couple in the search, press 'Install' I had to remove the pymakr package manually because I had Atom previously installed. It's located something like c:\users\yourusername.atom\packages I have it all working, now dealing with a serial port connection issue. Can't connect with all the default settings and the correct com port (com6 port etc... )
