@randomrnti Just curious, which NB-IoT network would be that? Is it via PyCom Vodafone NB-IoT sim? or you have setup a MQTT Server on a dedicated server and made that server reachable from Vodafone NB-IoT SIM?

@naveen No clue. When it did not work for me, I could not get a hand on debugging. I only purchased another LTE NBIoT module to verify, that the service was available and the SIM worked. It did. Module type SIM7020.

@robert-hh Hi, we don't officially support nb-iot in Pybytes yet. But it's on our roadmap for this year.

@bmarkus said in NB-IoT in Hungary?: @combaindeft Telekom announced publicly 60% national, 100% Budapest coverage. Question is not about coverage but PyCom usability. I can use e.g. QUECTEL without any problem. Today I had a break-through and can send data via AT-Commands ... Though, to make a proper data-connection and use USocket to send data ... that it's up to PyCom to add support for handling their network (had a talk with Telia here in Sweden today regarding their NB-IOT network). So yeah, question is how fast PyCom can add support for all operators data Networks around the globe.

@combaindeft Hej! I have just started to play with he Telia IoT using fipy. But I guess I am having similar problem with the socket creation as you experienced. I got such an error OSError: [Errno 113] EHOSTUNREACH while connecting to sockets. So how is it working for you now? Thanks.

@paul-thornton said in FiPy NB-IOT Example Codes for beta network testing: @mfa2214 We can support Huawei, but it depends what feature set the network operators enable to how well this will work :) Hi all, I'm trying to attach the "webe aka unifi" as network operators in Malaysia using band 5. unfortunately, modem still cannot attached and fipy also cannot listening the base station (Huawei e-nobe-b). below is the error i got: lte.connect() Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> OSError: LTE modem version not read lte.connect() Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> OSError: modem not attached Currently using FiPy-1.18.1.r7 as the modem f/w. Still do not know what happend. Hopefully someone could help. Many thanks

Those pins are connected to the ESP32 but they are not available on the pin header, they are connected internally on the module. TX = GPIO23 RTS = GPIO18 I will get these added to the pinout diagrams

@jmarcelino This will be great. I'm working close with the T-Mobile NL NB-IoT team. Let me know by DM if I can hook you guys up.
