hi @westmaxx, Let's first connect the 2 Lopy4 in the same Mesh network. What firmware are you using? what micropy scripts are you using? Could you run this tutorial: https://docs.pycom.io/tutorials/lora/lora-mesh/ ? The LoRa 868 Mhz antenna is on the right side of the LED, as shown here: https://docs.pycom.io/gitbook/assets/lopy4-pinout.pdf Also, please make sure you're using the same LoRa parameters on both boards? Band, frequency, bandwidth and spreading factor?

@robert-hh Thank you. I will also test and confirm if this is the case. My concern is RF performance has been degraded and the range will now be less. One of the units in the field was run without an antenna for a couple of days and I don't know if I now need to replace it.

@robert-hh hi Robert, thanks again for the response. The problem is in fact that it sometimes works, then after minutes or hours it stops. So the code is for sure uploaded, but it stops and not always at the same point. It is more stable connected to Atom but it stops anyway, but much later....

@jcaron Thank you for the response. The region I am using is AU region (AU915). In fact I am not using any TTN gateway rather, I have configured the (RAK831+Rasp Pi3) Pilot Gateway as the Built-in Lora Server and the LoRa frame Receive log is viewed in the page entering (IP address of Gateway:8080) in a browser. Actually, I intend to send just a simple message, for instance, a "Hello World" from the Lopy4 node to the above Gateway in order to confirm that the simple network can be realized between a Lopy4 node and the above Gateway. I am new to micropython though and would appreciate help... Thanks

Dear @jcaron, Bringing 0x2901 CUD support to the Pycom BLE stack You would need to modify the code you pointed out in [3] to add another descriptor for the description (it currently adds a 0x2902 CCC and you want to also add a 0x2901 CUD).   For each descriptor, you need to use esp_ble_gatts_add_char_descr then wait for xQueueReceive, apparently.   You would also have to add the user description as an allowed argument (line 1192) and process that like the other optional parameters.   [3] https://github.com/pycom/pycom-micropython-sigfox/blob/4d3322a60501cac1a06558a0c5c816e198570888/esp32/mods/modbt.c#L1276-L1290 Thanks for outlining the procedure in detail how to go forward on this. While I might feel like I could eventually accept this challenge while receiving further guidelines from folks more fluent with C++ as well as FreeRTOS, the ESP-IDF and the Bluetooth Softwarestack incorporated into the Firmware, we are currently a bit swamped between different other things. Saying this, we are humbly asking members from the Pycom core team here if adding this feature could be worth the effort? We can assure you we will kindly be the first betatesters of added functionality in this regard. Maybe @semireg (@caylanlarson) and @husigeza who worked together [1] on the important improvement re. processing the Bluetooth.CHAR_SUBSCRIBE_EVENT might add their thoughts here? Thanks already and with kind regards, Andreas. [1] https://github.com/pycom/pycom-micropython-sigfox/pull/121

@soibac35 if pinNumber is already a string, you do not need str(pinNumber).

@31warren could you clarify which example you are referring to? The LoRaWAN with OTAA sample in the docs does indeed send before receiving. In LoRaWAN class A devices contrary to raw LoRa you cannot receive any downlink unless there’s an uplink anyway (downlinks are sent in specific time windows after an uplink).

@31warren Please paste your code? Do you use lora.nvram_save() and lora.nvram_restore() methods? Which f/w are you using?

@hayesey Deepsleep library at Pycom GitHub Repo is v.1.0.5, so it seems you've got the most recent version. What is the f/w version on your LoPy? os.uname()

@jmarcelino Disabling the UART is not enough, my code does this allready and it clears the Buffer after setting the sensor on sleepmode because i knew that the wakeup can be basically any command. But i tried to set the tranceiver pin to LOW and it worked! thank you!
