Hi @jcaron, Thank you for answering, so I reviewed that other forum as well before and I am still a bit confused. I understand creating a server side script in python, php, etc. to execute the SQL queries, however, I’m lost at how to return the results over HTTP. I see the other forum talks about sending data to a MQTT broker, is that something I would have to do? Send the query results from the database to the broker and then subscribe to the MQTT?

@elizar I wouldn't have expected it since the Putty output looked fine, but it does appear to be issues related to poor signal quality. I took the breadboard out of the loop and attached the FTDI headers directly to the board headers with Molex cables and the flash finally took! Thanks for the suggestion!

@thr If you are using Pytrack, connect the battery to the dedicated battery connector on Pytrack.

I live in the Netherlands. I am about 1.6 km away from a gateway. @jcaron said in First steps with LoPy & PySense and feedback: The cases (probably) fit the expansion board, but not the PySense. Wouldn't hurt being a bit more explicit about it on the site. Are there any cases that would fit the PySense? +1 for the cases issue. I bought a PySense and a PyTrack and a case for each. Pretty frustrating that there aren't the appropriate mounting points in the case for those boards.

I recommend playing a bit with motors and motor drivers on some cheap Arduino clone. Get a 3.3V (volts) version, like the Arduino Pro Mini 3.3V - these can be had for less than $5 on Ebay and AliExpress - before moving to tests on an expensive FiPy. Once you have the logic figured out it should be easy to move to Python.

@bucknall I have watched the webinar and still have some problems with understanding how to send data between two Lopys. Should both of them be connected to a computer? If so do I need to use two computers to do that? How can I send the data without connecting Lopys to computer? I believe these are very easy questions but i am a begginer here...

Hi @michal.zykov! Unfortunately not yet! I've still experimenting with the format but I will, starting next week, start summarizing the workshops on a git repo! I'll post here again on Monday! :)
