    @jmarcelino Okay, thanks. I've missed that one. Can you tell me what kind of chip is used on pyscan board for NFC/RFID?

    hi guys, Temperature compensation is probably a polynomial function: a first degree, T_ambient = a * T_sensor + b, and for this 2 points should be measured (ambient and sensor temperature) in order to find 'a' and 'b' coefficients maybe for some designs a 2nd degree is a better model, and in this case 3 points are required to find the 3 coefficients This is points can be easily found reading the sensor temperature. The rest can be done in with a piece of paper, or Excel(Trendline) or Matlab/Octave. To understand more, here is a general description of the compensation methods, for the SI sensor: https://www.silabs.com/documents/public/application-notes/AN1026-Si70xx-Temp-Sensor-Designers-Guide.pdf

    @maamar i've a strange behaviour: main.py from pysense import Pysense from MPL3115A2 import MPL3115A2 from SI7006A20 import SI7006A20 from LTR329ALS01 import LTR329ALS01 from network import Sigfox import socket import time import struct import network wlan = network.WLAN(); wlan.deinit(); while True: py = Pysense(); mp = MPL3115A2(); si = SI7006A20(); lt = LTR329ALS01(); sigfox = Sigfox(mode=Sigfox.SIGFOX, rcz=Sigfox.RCZ1); #temperature -10000 - 10000 temp = int(round(si.temperature()*100,2)); #humidity 10000 - 0 hum = int(round(si.humidity()*100,0)); #pressure -13000 - 8560 pres = int(round(mp.pressure(),0))-100000; #blue light blue = lt.light()[0]; #red light red = lt.light()[1]; #message message = bytes(struct.pack('>hhhhh',temp,hum,pres,blue,red)); s = socket.socket(socket.AF_SIGFOX, socket.SOCK_RAW); s.setblocking(True); s.setsockopt(socket.SOL_SIGFOX, socket.SO_RX, False); s.send(message); s.close(); py.setup_sleep(60); py.go_to_sleep(); If i supply the pysense by usb all works fine, but if i supply it by 5V and GND (first and second pin on the top rigth corner) the Sipy sends only one message. Do you have any suggestions?

    My suggestion? Don't bother with ADC measurement. Get a "gas gauge" breakout, like the one from SparkFun: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10617 I've created a thread with feature suggestions for the various expansion boards. One thing I'd like to see is the gas gauge IC integrated to all boards; preferably the MAX17048 (which is a newer, more power-efficient version of the IC on the previously-mentioned breakout). Forum thread here: https://forum.pycom.io/topic/2476/expansion-board-suggestions

    @livius -- thanks so much code i used is below from pycoproc import Pycoproc expansion_identififer = Pycoproc() expansion_identififer.read_product_id() looks like: Pysense product_id = 61458 Pytrack product_id = 61459 I also inserted the Pysense example code after and it runs with no issues which is what I wanted. @jmetzner I'm glad it works, the documentation is off in a lot of places.

    @robin UART0 is a bit special - need to look into that myself - but you can easily redefine the UART1 pins (and UART2 unless on the GPy/FiPy)

    @gruia-nichita You don’t need the deep sleep shield on the Pysense/Pytrack, that functionality is built in.

    It is indeed mentioned in this post. So I'll be able to get rid of the expansion board but not the deep sleep shield for it to be fully efficient That's exactly what I was thinking but I wanted to be sure about especially about the current since it worked but I was sure there will still be current consumption problems without the shield. Thank you for your fast reply, this will reduce the size of my project.

    @catalin - thanks for the quick response. That makes sense, and after instantiating just one instance of MPL3115A2, I’m getting a pressure around 85000 Pa, which is still a bit low (~25 inches of mercury vs 30 according to the national weather service), but might be explained by an unset sea level reference. Cheers, Tim

    Hi...i am a new user here. As per my knowledge 5.6v is out of spec and should be considered unsafe. Most likely it will work, since USB ports tend to be poorly regulated and these devices take that into account with lots of safety margin, but you risk your player doing so. You might want to look into putting together a 5v regulator circuit to be safe. complete pcb

    I suffer the same error with the new firmware version (1.10.2.b1). It seems they have not solved it until now... Have you found any solution?+ Thanks
