@matamune you can turn automatic gc on gc.enable() and also you can do manual gc.collect()

@zceld I often see an issue like this when I have another atom window/tab open that is also connected to the same serial port. Can you make sure nothing else is trying to access the serial port?

Yes, this is the way I was trying to implement it, without success until I realized there was an error with the device address. So now, it works fine many thanks !

I've finally gotten around to doing a bit more, so I have a utility now on the device we run to "harden" them aside from setting some parameters in our code to disable debugging does two things. pycom.wifi_on_boot(False) (our project doesn't need the wifi radio at all and it better than halves the power consumption on the L01 we found) Then it writes the following into boot.py import os os.dupterm(None) Which disables the REPL Console, leaving only the initial boot messages generated by the ESP. The only easy way back in then is to short the pins on the module to perform a clean boot.

@seb Yes, it's in the EU, 868 Region. Using ABP, I can connect, send messages from the node (FiPy) to the gateway (LoPy), they are reported on the TTN cosole, and they arrive in the test target, but downlink messages travel only to the gateway (LoPy), are sent out by the getaeway, but almost never the node confirms reception. This may block OTAA.

@livius thx for your advice, there haven't been a second pysense.py but a lot of other crap and folders, i deleted them now it is working fine! Thank you! i will now use ftp to upload my libs or at least check if everything is ok

@jmarcelino Thanks. I was thinking on something like the FT2232H. I would also say it is difficult but it is for an academic research, so I think it is worthy. :) I have just read that page, but today the OpenOCD page with the compatible JTAG adapters seems to have fallen.
