@jmarcelino Got why. In the while loop where I test for bt.isscanning() I had to introduce an sleep_ms(1), since the scan termination wasn't recognized anymore. Thank you

Both of these have been rectified. The LoPy4 now actually has both antenna ports and all pinouts now show that 3v3 is output only

@livius That was my first guess but I've dropped the power to the lowest possible level (15%) and it's as far away as I can make it. I have counted 90 Wi-Fi signals in the area though, which is staggering!

@misterlisty look here https://docs.pycom.io/chapter/datasheets/boards/deepsleep.html To correctly connect a WiPy 2.0, LoPy or SiPy to the Deep Sleep Shield, align the white triangle on the Shield with the LED of the Pycom Device. Once the Pycome Device is seated onto the Deep Sleep Shield, this can then be connected to the Exapnsion Board.

All regular pins default to input with pulldown enabled, so you can tie them to ground or leave them unconnected.

@misterlisty Do you want to implement that in Python or C? For python, you can use for instance sys.stdin.read(1) to get single characters from whatever is sent to the device.

as @crumble say water level is probably not possible to mesure. If lat log is in pecision meters then you water level will be quite same.. Use different approach, there are many better ways for this task.

Hi @seb Thanks that clears things up a lot! I didn't know I could list the methods in each module either, useful to know... That would be fantastic if you could add this sort of extra detail in the documentation, I'm sure that will save me a lot of time! Thanks again.

The FiPy and GPy are currently in production and we will first ship Kickstarter rewards and existing pre-orders. We estimate end of November/early December for general availability.

@misterlisty The LoPy (more specifically the L01 OEM module which is meant for production) is already used in a range of commercial products, for example: Victron Energy: https://www.victronenergy.com/panel-systems-remote-monitoring/ve-direct-lorawan (background: https://pycom.io/great-minds-think-alike/) Tenna: https://pycom.io/modern-asset-tracking/ Safe Water: https://pycom.io/temperature-sensing-for-legionella-control-showcase-mwca17/ All these started as a LoPy prototype as @bmarkus said and then were developed/tuned for commercial use using the L01 OEM production module. The scale-up process from LoPy prototype to product using OEM modules is something Pycom cares a lot about and looking to simplify. But even now it's already happening.

@robert-hh I had to connect G23 with GND as per the update process. The update failed 3 more times with the bash script but the last one using windows seems to have worked. Someone needs to work on the bash script! Many thanks for the help.
