Thanks for the suggestions! Still looking to get some examples how to serialize sensor data with MicroPython for TTN. All examples I found are for Arduino. Maybe @bucknall has some nice examples around?

@livius First i tried it in boot.py - then i moved it to main.py. Both with no success. Then i had an idea. I'm using a FritzBox with Wifi on 2.4 and 5 GHz with the same ssid. I think this is the root cause. I enabled the guest AP and tried to connect to this - and this is working. So at least i have workaround for me! But anyway , thanks a lot for your help!

@robert-hh Thanks for the snippet. I can confirm that it seems to be a problem with my windows machine. I can now connect to the LoPy in STA mode via telnet and ftp (with my linux machine). Thanks for all the suggestions!

I'm registering my interest in AS923 support. Many of the telcos in AU and NZ are implementing AS923 and will not support devices based on LoPy in its current state of affairs. We're going to have to ditch the LoPy and go with muRata or Multitech modules unless the firmware is updated to give more control. Is this on the cards?

@bucknall Thanks for following up on this. For trials, the pytrack would be mounted in a car. The pysense is indoors, wall mounted. I'm in the process of 3D printing a casing myself for this. But as a review I can add that an enclosure similar to Pycase Clear, which is able to house the Pysense and Pytrack boards, would be a best suited solution. I have seen in TI SensorTags that they have transparent casing pieces on top of the sensor side of the board with slits and grids to let both light and humidity in. Perhaps this is also something to consider in the design.

@bucknall While one LoPy is sending and getting ACK, if I turn ON another LoPy it stops the communication (there is a collision), so, what can I do to avoid that collisions?

For anybody else that might have this problem, before trying to erase the flash you need to have a wire connected between G23 and GND and reset the board.

@berpast awesome I updated my project with your solution and it is working perfectly.

Did someone successfully connect to the Things Network (TTN) with ADR working? The TTN should have ADR enabled by default with the algorithm kicking in after 20 packets, yet even after 70 packets it's still at SF12BW125. The gateway is just next door, my packets have an RSSI of about -50 and a SNR of around 5-7. SF7 would still give plenty of margin. My LoPy firmware is at 1.7.3b2.
