@asavvin Well unless you want to design your own PCB you'll have to use some jumper leads

Thanks. If I set os.dupterm(None), I get a telnet login on WLAN which works OK ('Login succeeded!), but no REPL '>>>' on WLAN (or UART0) as might be expected. micropython.org indicates dupterm requires a stream_object. I have tried the obvious wlan and server instances without success. What is the relevant object here?

@sameerchouksey do you know if the network is sending MAC commands to the device? If so there could be acknowledgements to send back, which would reduce the max available packet size. Not sure if those ACKs have priority over the payload though.

@obladio I'm not sure if the Raspberry Pi code works in the current form, it's been a while since I tried it - almost as long as that code has been sitting there unchanged (1 1/2 years) but maybe it does. I do know downlinks are not supported at all in that code which is what TTN is really annoyed about - in the past gateways without downlinks were blocked from participating in TTN https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/forum/t/resolved-some-single-channel-gateways-stopped-working/6529 and https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/forum/t/the-future-of-single-channel-gateways/6590/72 I'd recommend using a single channel gateway which supports downlinks, such as the LoPy with nano-gateway code or some of of the suggestions on that 2nd thread I linked. If you want to use the Raspberry Pi code you have I guess you have to do some tests to understand if it's currently working.

@robert-hh I want to remove the time.sleep and just focus on checking if the packed is sent before sending more so I can max out the send and recv part...

@alvaroav Dear all, Some advances by the end of the week. I have tried from a clean code, just building a new program. I come back to the option to open the socket, send all data in a loop, and at the end of the loop, close the socket. I am not so sure why, BUT now the ENOMEM error just appears from time to time. Moreover, I don't need any server (blocking or non-blocking) running. Moreover, I place this exception into the loop, and allow me to "reconnect" and continue the program even if an error appers. flag = 1 Nerrors = 0; socketUDP = socket.socket(socket.AF_INET, socket.SOCK_DGRAM) while (flag<200): time.sleep(0.05) data=bytes() data = data + b'counter = ' + bytes(str(flag),'utf-8') try: sent = socketUDP.sendto(data, addr) print(data) led.toggle() flag=flag+1 except OSError: Nerrors+=1 print('error ', Nerrors) continue socketUDP.close() I am thinking that the problem might come from the wifi connection to the router... I will check this next week. BR

@robert-hh - Further to this - I actually haven't got the sensor to hand (awaiting shipment), but once it arrives, I'll measure the current draw at 3V3 to confirm that the datasheet is accurate.

This thing about the solid green light on a Lopy4. I've been seeing that also. For me it first occurred after about a week of uptime of the LoPy4. I assume that some unobserved fatal error occurred which resulted in a watchdog reset and then a solid green light scenario manifested itself on the reboot. I pressed the reset button about 3 or 4 times, each time getting the solid green light. The next press of the reset button was followed by a normal boot and normal, expected behaviour of running code. I can't see this being a power supply issue, or an issue with file-system corruption.

@seb Thanks for taking the time to get back to me and for the link. I was worried that might be the solution. Will have to get started on learning.
