@costelcotae it was not a real effort to do it, just a byproduct of some other testing, so I don't have much details. I believe it was just set at SF12. Of course I can't say it was reliable, I just know I saw a few such packets in logs. As far as I understand it, the gateways are outdoors, roof-mounted, with relatively large antennas (but not directional), so this may make a bit difference.

You need a running WiFi and access to a time server. In the example from robert-HH the internet. If you still trying to get the GPS data. You can get the UTC time from the sentence parsed by the lib. And don't forget to read the documentation from the GPS/GNSS chip. The chip sends two sentences according if it receive signals from US or the russian sattelites. But the lib parses only the russian sentence. Maybe the US sentence works better in your area.

I am using the expansion board 2.0. I have no deep sleep shield yet (Pycom forgot to send the deep sleep shield with the order of the lopy 2 weeks ago. They told me a deep sleep shield is on its way now) We deinit the WLAN from start because we don't use it. We charge just using the micro-usb cable. It is configured with the jumpers at 450mA charge current. In the battery test we did, we intentionally drained the battery fully to see how long it would last. We expected the LoPy to stop working eventually, but expected we would be able to recharge it using the USB connection at that point. Can the deep sleep shield -if used on the LoPy 1- recharge a drained battery by just plugging the USB-cable in after the battery was exhausted and shut off by the deep sleep shield?

OK now works! I changed the device address in the global settings to the correct Com port and rebooted Atom and it picked it up fine. Thanks again, @seb, rather strange this has only just started to happen!

Thanks Meirssv for posting a solution. Had the same problem. Funny thing is that TTN only repeats the downlink payload on my LoPy module and not on my Microchip RN2483 module. It's like a downlink handshake from LoPy is missing, so TTN repeats queueing the payload. Can't find any documentation on downlink acknowledgements though. Anyway it works now thanks to your reply.
