@dylan Hi Dylan. I am using MQTT constantlty over CAT-M1 on Telstra. I am only using. lte.send_at_cmd('AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","telstra.internet"') lte.send_at_cmd("AT!=\"RRC::addscanfreq band=28 dl-earfcn=9410\"") lte.send_at_cmd('AT+CFUN=1') And have not had to resort to the additional AT commands you are using. I have also found the reset the modem if I have lost the connection and am reconnecting without a power cycle. lte.send_at_cmd('AT^RESET') Other than that its working very reliably for me. I am not using mqtt but using the AWS client (not to connect to AWS) as I need TLS with certificate support. We use Losant. They do support port 1883. T

@electronic I cannot see the revision in your screen snapshot. But as first action you should update the FiPy. The modules network and LTE as part of that are embedded in the firmware. There are no files like network.py or LTE.py.

@jmarcelino Thank you for all your help. We had provided Verizon the ICCID and IMEI 10 days ago at the time of provisioning request, but for some reason the IMEI was mixed up....and lost in translation. It was rectified over a troubleshooting ticket with Verizon.

@paul-thornton said in FiPy NB-IOT Example Codes for beta network testing: @mfa2214 We can support Huawei, but it depends what feature set the network operators enable to how well this will work :) Hi all, I'm trying to attach the "webe aka unifi" as network operators in Malaysia using band 5. unfortunately, modem still cannot attached and fipy also cannot listening the base station (Huawei e-nobe-b). below is the error i got: lte.connect() Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> OSError: LTE modem version not read lte.connect() Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> OSError: modem not attached Currently using FiPy-1.18.1.r7 as the modem f/w. Still do not know what happend. Hopefully someone could help. Many thanks

@Gijs @Yoann-Baud any luck here? I'm in Norway and using the same setup. We've had some discussions before but haven't been able to get around this either and any updates on this case you have here that you could share would be very helpful! Scott

@jardar Telenor is NB-IoT only we can only work with them on certification when our NB-IoT support is in place. The current estimate is to have a first version of NB-IoT by end of the month.

Thank you @jcaron, for the data consumption topic, you're right, I will check the requirements again. For the gateway, can you recommend us some low price, fair range LoraWAN gateways? Doesn't matter if they aren't battery powered. We can start from there.

@georgeeisin Sure. You may use any antenna, which matches both the chosen frequency and the impedance of 50 Ohm.

@timh (and anyone else trying to reset) I'm using nbiot have managed to attach and connect to the vodafone network but seem to be able to get the module in a state that it won't accept any at commands frequently - just returns empty strings to all attempts to talk to it or reset it? @eric24 Aha... ok. Longer term eg 6 months horizon, Pycom will be offering connectivity services. For obvious reasons I cannot go into detail at this stage but we will make announcements soon. In the meant time, I take onboard your requirements and will ensure we publish some practical steps for short term supply. Leave that with me... Thanks Fred

I guess we will need to go for SigFox until everything is settled. I forgot to mention one question: I saw that AT commands are coming in near time on other posts. I didn't see a method in the documentation about how to connect to an APN of the SIM card. So I don't know if this method comes with those AT commands or if there is another solution to it. Thanks for your response so far =)

Those pins are connected to the ESP32 but they are not available on the pin header, they are connected internally on the module. TX = GPIO23 RTS = GPIO18 I will get these added to the pinout diagrams
